How it works in Slack

  1. Click Add to Slack and approve access for your workspace.
  2. A workspace admin opens the SlackInvoice Home tab and connects a Stripe secret key.
  3. Team members message SlackInvoice in a DM or channel – for example: “invoice Acme Corp for $500 consulting.”
  4. SlackInvoice replies with invoice details, a payment link, and buttons to send or void the invoice.
  5. SlackInvoice notifies an admin or a specified channel once an invoice is paid, saving staff from checking invoice status from time to time.

Email & privacy. SlackInvoice may store the installer's and Stripe admin's email (via Slack's users:read.email scope) for operational contact only – support, security, and service updates. No marketing emails. By installing or connecting Stripe, you consent to this use. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Pricing – early access. SlackInvoice is free during early access. All features are included at no charge from us while we refine the product. When paid plans launch, the Free tier will include 20 invoices per month; Pro will offer unlimited invoices. You only pay Stripe their normal processing fees on invoices you send to your customers. Existing workspaces will be notified in advance.
AI-powered assistant. SlackInvoice uses a large language model to understand natural language requests and format replies. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate. Always verify invoice amounts, customer details, and payment status in Stripe before acting on financial decisions. SlackInvoice does not use your Slack message data to train AI models.
Stripe integration. SlackInvoice is not affiliated with Stripe, Inc. You connect your own Stripe account using a secret API key stored encrypted on our servers. Only workspace admins can connect or disconnect Stripe.
